In this role, you will:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the medical surgical unit.
- Float to IMCU, CCU, or psychiatric units as required.
- Utilize EMR systems, specifically MediTech, for patient documentation.
- Maintain effective communication using the SBAR method.
- Ensure compliance with health protocols, including COVID-19 vaccination requirements.
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
- A valid RN license in North Carolina or a compact license.
- A minimum of 2 years of acute care hospital experience.
- Proficiency in counting intervals and interpreting cardiac rhythms.
- Experience with medication systems, specifically Pyxis.
- Current certifications in AHA BLS and preferably ACLS.
