The Structures Stress Analysis team is integral to this mission, comprising a diverse group of highly skilled engineers from mechanical, aerospace, and civil engineering backgrounds.

Our efforts support the design, development, and testing of both current and future aeronautical products.

Key Responsibilities

In the role of Subsystems Stress Analysis Lead for the F-35 fifth generation aircraft, you will guide a team of engineers in integrating evolving new systems into the F-35 platform while also supporting other innovative aerospace development initiatives.

This position will leverage your expertise in Subsystems Installation Analysis to incorporate systems into the aircraft, as well as your experience with Production and Fleet support to address manufacturing and operational challenges.

You will lead a diverse engineering team daily to analyze design outcomes that enhance the aircraft's capabilities.

Your technical expertise and communication skills will be crucial in resolving manufacturing challenges and delivering presentations to stakeholders.


Key Duties:

  • Collaborate in the design, development, and optimization of subsystems placement and routing within the aircraft.
  • Employ classical and digital streaming analysis techniques, including finite element analysis, to assess stresses, deflections, and interface loads on subsystems and supporting hardware.
  • Evaluate incoming work requirements to establish schedules and manpower needs.
  • Assign tasks to team members and monitor progress.
  • Provide expert guidance on best practices for subsystems to facilitate efficiencies in the production of legacy platforms and support ongoing development programs.
