About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Defense Attorney to join our team at Liberty Mutual. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in upholding and protecting our policyholders' rights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire legal process, from investigation and discovery to trial preparation and court proceedings.
  • Represent clients in depositions, site inspections, court hearings, trials, and negotiate settlements as required.
  • Develop and implement effective legal strategies for all stages of litigation.
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with claims representatives and insured clients.
  • Conduct training sessions for Legal, Claims, or other departments.
Requirements
  • Membership in the Bar.
  • Appropriate special licenses to practice before boards or federal courts preferred.
  • A minimum of one-year experience as an attorney.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Talent for cultivating strong working relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Aptitude for detailed, analytical thinking.
  • Process-oriented mindset, with proven ability to meet deadlines and stay organized.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
