About the Role
TalentPartners is seeking a skilled Product Development Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative equipment solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop equipment with consideration for engineering standards, form, fit, function, safety, reliability, cost, ease of manufacture, maintenance, shipping, and installation.
- Conduct design verification using finite element analysis, fatigue analysis, and other appropriate methods based on project requirements.
- Coordinate and perform testing of prototype equipment to validate design form, fit, and function.
- Develop comprehensive technical documentation for consistent, repeatable manufacturing, including engineering drawings, tolerance definitions, specifications for components, quality standards, service manuals, and test requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- 2-3 years of relevant experience
- 3D CAD software experience
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software (SolidWorks Simulation, COSMOS, or ANSYS) preferred.
