Nurse Care Specialist

As a Private Duty Nurse with ChristianaCare HomeHealth, you will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with patients in their homes, providing expert care and building meaningful relationships.
We serve pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients throughout Delaware, including Camden, Georgetown, Newark, and Wilmington. Our staff assists with various medical tasks such as administering medications, gastric tube feedings, tracheostomy maintenance, ventilator support, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality care to medically fragile patients.
- Collaborate with families, doctors, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
- Build trust by providing compassionate, responsive, and courteous service.
- Work a minimum of two weekend shifts per month.
- Administer medications and prescribed treatments as ordered.
Requirements:
A DE LPN or RN license is preferred, along with at least one year of experience in a healthcare setting.
You must be able to attend a two-week daytime orientation in our Camden office, followed by patient field orientation.
Previous home health and/or long-term care experience is a plus.
Tracheostomy and ventilator experience are preferred.
