- Submit accurate claims to insurance providers promptly.
- Follow up on outstanding claims within the specified billing cycle.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and denials with insurance companies.

- Accurately record payments and adjustments on patient accounts.
- Uphold patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare professionals regarding billing and payment matters.
- Stay updated on industry changes and modifications to billing standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Medical Billing Specialist or in a related role.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, along with CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 coding.
- Familiarity with insurance guidelines and healthcare regulations, including HIPAA.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR).
- Able to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certification as a Professional Biller (CPB) is preferred but not mandatory.
