Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one care and support to children with autism, teaching new skills and promoting comprehensive growth.
  • Engage children in play-based routines, transforming everyday moments into opportunities for teaching and nurturing essential life skills.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to design and implement individualized developmental plans, upholding the principles of the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) and maintaining fidelity to Soar's care model.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with families, providing regular insights on their child's progress and offering guidance rooted in best child care practices.
Qualifications
  • A genuine interest and prior experience in child care roles, such as daycare, nannying, or similar positions, or related educational experiences (e.g., bachelors in psychology or child development).
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a talent for building connections with young children and their families.
  • Ability to work effectively on a team.
