Key Responsibilities
  • Manage case files and formulate next course of action
  • Represent the firm at pre-trials, trials, mediations, and other court appearances
  • Work closely with partners and professional staff to achieve business objectives
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to resolve business disputes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals
Requirements
  • One (1) to three (3) years of civil litigation experience
  • One (1) to two (2) years of experience in the Creditors' Rights or Collection fields preferred
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Experience creating persuasive communications materials
  • Strong investigative skills to uncover facts, causes of action, and determine next steps
  • Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and work as part of a team
  • Computer skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Education and Experience
  • Juris Doctor Degree (J.D.)
  • Texas license required
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Subrogation or insurance experience a plus
