Agricultural Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Custom Applicator to join our team in Selby, SD. As a Custom Applicator, you will work independently to create relationships with local farmers, manage your time effectively, and apply products safely, accurately, and efficiently.

• Apply fertilizers and crop protection products under general supervision, including the use of high-clearance sprayers or floaters.
• Work with customers in a courteous and professional manner, educating them on products being applied, techniques used, and how to continue supporting their needs.
• Assist sales staff in ensuring orders are correct and patron needs are met.
• Perform warehouse work, including driving a loader, forklift, mechanics, and maintenance, as well as loading and unloading agricultural inputs from railcars and/or trucks.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will be expected to perform general labor duties promptly and efficiently, which may include general maintenance, grounds maintenance, equipment inspection and maintenance, and record keeping.

• 1+ years of experience in Agriculture Production, Operations, and/or Agricultural Application.
• Meet minimum age requirements.

We offer a competitive total rewards package, including a base wage, bonus, incentives, and commissions. The estimated salary range for this position is $$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
