Ultrasound Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Technologist to join our Imaging Team on a PRN/per diem/as-needed basis at HCA Florida South Shore Hospital.

As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine diagnostic sonographic procedures in a safe and respectful manner. Your tasks will include preparing and positioning patients and equipment, obtaining high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images, and maintaining effective communication with patients and radiologists.

• General Ultrasound experience preferred; Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Vascular experience preferred
• Graduate of an accredited program for radiographers or ultra-sonographers; Vocational School Graduate
• RDMS Abdomen Specialty, or Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
