Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Technician at Sam's Club, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting the pharmacy team in delivering high-quality patient care. This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will have the opportunity to grow and develop your skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, and assisting with purchasing decisions.
  • Operate cash registers and related equipment, process member purchases, and assist with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges.
  • Assist with processing prescription and OTC orders and purchases, stocking and securing pharmacy supplies and merchandise, and completing paperwork and documentation.
  • Receive and stock merchandise in the pharmacy area, and maintain the pharmacy area by following company procedures and utilizing equipment appropriately.
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless operations and provide support as needed.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
Preferred Qualifications

While not required, having the following qualifications will make you a stronger candidate:

  • Previous experience in a pharmacy or retail environment
  • Pharmacy technician certification or training
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of pharmacy software
