We are seeking a highly qualified Clinical Forensic Psychologist to join our team at The Chicago School. As a Clinical Forensic Psychologist, you will be responsible for teaching courses related to the practice of Clinical Forensic Psychology in our M.A. and Psy.D. programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach courses in Clinical Forensic Psychology, including assessment and intervention techniques.
- Mentor and advise graduate students in their academic and professional development.
- Contribute to curriculum design and departmental development that aligns with our mission and strategic plan.
- Monitor student learning outcomes and progress, and provide feedback to students.
- Serve on dissertation committees as a Chair or member, and provide guidance to students on their research projects.
- Interact and communicate effectively with a diverse population, including students, faculty, and community partners.
- Engage in service-learning activities with faculty and students, and participate in outreach activities with community partners.
- Attend department faculty meetings, clinical program faculty meetings, and other meetings as required.
- Facilitate and engage in student recruitment activities, and promote the program to potential students.
- Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Forensic Psychology or a closely related field.
- Licensed or license-eligible in the state of California (must be licensed within two years of employment).
- Evidence of teaching experience at the graduate level.
