Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach courses in Clinical Forensic Psychology, including assessment and intervention techniques.
  • Mentor and advise graduate students in their academic and professional development.
  • Contribute to curriculum design and departmental development that aligns with our mission and strategic plan.
  • Monitor student learning outcomes and progress, and provide feedback to students.
  • Serve on dissertation committees as a Chair or member, and provide guidance to students on their research projects.
  • Interact and communicate effectively with a diverse population, including students, faculty, and community partners.
  • Engage in service-learning activities with faculty and students, and participate in outreach activities with community partners.
  • Attend department faculty meetings, clinical program faculty meetings, and other meetings as required.
  • Facilitate and engage in student recruitment activities, and promote the program to potential students.
Requirements:
  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Forensic Psychology or a closely related field.
  • Licensed or license-eligible in the state of California (must be licensed within two years of employment).
  • Evidence of teaching experience at the graduate level.
