Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist II to join our team at NorthShore University HealthSystem. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for operating radiology equipment to obtain high-quality radiographs used by physicians to detect and treat breast cancer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Position patients and adjust x-ray equipment to ensure accurate and high-quality images
  • Evaluate film quality and maintain quality assurance records
  • Test radiologic equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and colleagues
  • Explain procedures to patients and address any concerns or questions they may have
Requirements
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • ARRT(R)(M) certification with current registration or eligibility
  • IEMA licensure
  • Current CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • A minimum of an Associate's Degree or higher (preferred)
