Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse to join our Med Surg Cardiac team at Memorial Hospital Belleville. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care.
  • Promote patient and family-centered care in a healing environment, educating patients and their families on how to manage their illness or injury, including post-treatment home care needs and medication administration.
  • Participate in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, as well as professional development.
  • Develop, implement, and document individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with other members of the interprofessional team and patient, family, or caregiver, in accordance with established guidelines and standards of nursing care.
  • Use critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care, assessing patient preferences and barriers to involvement in care, including their values, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and population-specific needs.
Requirements
  • Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree in Nursing.
  • No experience required, but a Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
  • RN licensure required.
