Heavy Civil Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Civil Estimator/Project Manager to join our team at J Severino Construction LLC.

• Prepare detailed civil estimates by analyzing proposals, plans, and specifications.
• Identify labor, material, and time requirements for projects, ensuring accurate cost estimation.
• Manage civil projects from start to finish, including obtaining necessary permits and issuing subcontracts.
• Generate comprehensive material take-offs and earthwork cut/fill reports.
• Review project plans, prepare bid books, and estimate costs, ensuring timely project delivery.
• Process project bids, subcontracting, and change orders, maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.
• Assist in obtaining submittal information and shop drawings, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
• Procure materials and develop project schedules, utilizing MS Office and construction software.

• Minimum 2 years of sales/estimating experience, with a strong background in construction estimating techniques and software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel, with excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Strong knowledge of project coordination and scheduling, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Full-time employment with a competitive salary range of $50,000 - $80,000 per annum.
• No bonus or commission structure.
