About the Job

The Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Minnesota Medical School is seeking a full-time ABR board certified/eligible radiation oncologist. The successful candidate will have demonstrated ability in teaching and scholarly productivity, with a preference for those who have developed expertise in radiotherapeutic treatment of thoracic, genitourinary, head & neck, or CNS malignancies.

Responsibilities
  • Teach medical residents and medical students
  • Maintain a clinical practice and see patients at University of Minnesota clinics throughout the Minneapolis metro area
  • Pursue scholarly work in the candidate's area of specialty/research experience with a goal of developing collaborative or independent, externally funded research
  • Foster an academic environment for medical students, residents, and faculty
Requirements
  • MD or equivalent degree
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Minnesota
  • Board certified or board eligible in radiation oncology
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited radiation oncology residency training
