Job Title: Diesel Mechanic Mobile Technician

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Mobile Technician to join our team at Ryder. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of heavy-duty trucks.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake and tire work, and diagnostic repairs
  • Identify and repair issues with diesel engines, including advanced skilled level repairs
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure quality of repair work and customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate work schedule with customers and ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks, including A/C and heater checks, brake and tire inspections, and battery checks
  • Utilize key functions of Shop Management System and electronic documentation available
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Vocational or technical certification, post-secondary degree, or technical certifications preferred
  • Three years or more relevant work experience, preferred
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A, preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
