Job Title: MRI Technologist

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As an MRI Tech, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment and ensuring that images are accurate and passed on to physicians for medical interpretation.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have 1 year of experience in MRI technology and possess a strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. You will be responsible for preparing patients for MRI scans, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their safety during the procedure.

Responsibilities:
  • Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
  • Screen patients for MRI safety and explain imaging procedures
  • Position patients for MRI scans using immobilization and protective equipment
  • Assist radiologists with procedure performance
  • Evaluate MRI scans for technical quality and collate processed images
  • Maintain accurate patient records
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience in MRI technology
  • ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT National Certification with registration in magnetic resonance imaging
  • State-specific licensing when required
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
