Position Highlights:

This role operates on a rotating schedule of 3 days on and 3 days off, with hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Role Summary:

The Process Engineering Technician plays a crucial role in upholding established procedures through advanced injection molding techniques and thorough root cause analysis. This position is focused on continuous enhancement while adhering to all company standards and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
  • Adjusting processes to ensure quality
  • Working with hot runner systems
  • Maintaining quality benchmarks
  • Collaborating professionally with Quality personnel, Shift Supervisors, and the Manufacturing Manager
  • Overseeing various automation systems, including 3 and 6 axis robotics
  • Conducting initial startup part verification and qualification as required
  • Documenting and validating process and production modifications in the Mold Book Log
  • Executing startups and shutdowns as necessary
  • Performing scheduled Daily Clean and Grease tasks
  • Ensuring production setups are organized and clean
  • Pursuing training and development opportunities
  • Meeting productivity benchmarks
  • Executing mold changes as required

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a related field or a combination of education and experience
  • Strong mechanical skills
  • Advanced robotics experience is preferred

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 lbs. continuously, and 50 lbs. occasionally
  • Capability to climb ladders
