UniServ Director

The UniServ Director is a key leadership position at the NC Association of Educators, responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to organize and advocate for public education professionals. This role requires a strong understanding of education policy, grassroots organizing, and leadership development.

• Develop and implement strategic plans to organize and advocate for public education professionals
• Build and maintain relationships with local leaders and members to promote the association's mission and goals
• Provide training and support to local leaders and members to build their capacity for organizing and advocacy
• Collaborate with other staff and stakeholders to advance the association's policy agenda
• Stay up-to-date on education policy and advocacy issues at the local, state, and national levels

• Bachelor's degree in education, public policy, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in education policy, grassroots organizing, or leadership development
• Strong understanding of education policy and advocacy issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
