Janitorial Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Specialist to join our team at Harvard Maintenance. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

• Cleaning and Sanitation: Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces and equipment.
• Restroom Maintenance: Restock toilet paper and soap, empty trash, and clean and sanitize fixtures, mirrors, and partitions.
• Furniture and Equipment Maintenance: Move furniture, vacuum, and reposition furniture as needed.
• Trash and Recycling: Check trash containers, empty trash, and replace liners.
• Additional Duties: Perform additional duties as required, including attending to flooded areas, incidental spills, and related clean-up work.

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a janitorial or facilities maintenance role.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
• Availability: Must be willing to work assigned hours, including Monday-Friday, 2pm-6pm.
