About the Role: As a Critical Care Telemetry Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Observation unit. This role requires 2+ years of experience in MED/SURG Telemetry and proficiency in Epic EMR systems.
Job Description:
Observation Unit Overview: Our 16-bed Observation unit handles observation patients and holds, requiring flexibility and adaptability from our nurses. As a Critical Care Telemetry Nurse, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to adult patients.
Responsibilities:
- • Read and interpret TELE strips to inform patient care decisions
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
Requirements:
We are seeking candidates with:
Certifications: ACLS certification and an active MA RN License are required for this role.
Experience: 2+ years of experience in MED/SURG Telemetry is necessary, along with proficiency in Epic EMR systems.
Schedule: The selected candidate will work nights and every other weekend (36 hours) in our Observation unit. Floating and rotating shifts are also required.
Compensation: We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 annually, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
