Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in the analysis, design, programming, and implementation of intricate application tasks and projects. Develop logical procedures to address business challenges using computer resources.
  • Conduct research to formulate scope and objectives for the development or modification of complex systems.
  • Provide technical direction and support for the development and maintenance of business systems software and procedures.
  • Design, code, test, and debug advanced application programs.
  • Offer expertise on the integration of applications across the organization.
  • Act as an internal consultant and mentor, providing guidance on complex projects and ensuring alignment with business and IT strategies.
  • Make design recommendations that align with long-term IT organizational strategies.
  • Participate in the design of components and data architecture, performance monitoring, and product evaluation.
  • Analyze, design, program, and implement solutions for complex business or scientific issues.
  • Develop enterprise-level applications and custom integration solutions.
  • Establish programming and development standards, and devise innovative data sources and techniques.
  • Guide junior programmers and analysts, coordinating complex projects or phases of larger initiatives.
  • Test developed programs, verify logic, and document processes.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of application development, quality assurance, and integration methodologies.
  • High proficiency in programming languages and systems analysis.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and collaboratively within a team.
  • Familiarity with project management concepts.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain effective working relationships.

Work Environment:

A customer-focused, project-oriented programming environment that is fast-paced and may require immediate responses to support technical business needs.

Minimum Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Work Experience:

A minimum of 8 years in application development, systems testing, or related experience.

Compensation:

The expected pay range for this position is $52.50/hour - $66.00/hour.
