We are seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team on the 32-bed MedSurg Oncology Unit at EvergreenHealth. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, advocate for patients and families, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, assessing comprehensive nursing needs and developing individualized plans of care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure timely and accurate information exchange.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and excellence in patient care.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required within 5 years of employment.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington.
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
- Desirable: Master's degree in Nursing, experience in oncology nursing.
