Job Description

As a Machinist with the Army National Guard, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing equipment for our military personnel. Your expertise in metalworking and machine operation will be essential in ensuring that our soldiers have the tools they need to perform their duties effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate various machine shop equipment, including lathes, drill presses, and grinders
  • Measure and inspect workpieces using precision tools
  • Study blueprints and written plans to understand the specifications of the parts to be made
  • Cut and shape metal stock using a variety of tools
  • Use welding equipment to join metal parts together

Requirements
  • Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
