The primary goal of this initiative is to enhance our manufacturing landscape by integrating top-tier solutions that merge Cloud technologies with Plant Floor Operations Technology. This alignment aims to empower the organization to utilize these strategic solutions in a mobile and owner-driven environment.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to engage in projects utilizing cutting-edge technology and tools, delivering solutions that are precise, dependable, and scalable to meet our business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to product delivery, ensuring that the development of new services creates a positive experience for business stakeholders using Agile methodologies.
  • Collaborate closely with product owners and delivery managers to gather requirements related to data, information, analytics, and business intelligence.
  • Implement Azure solutions to align with architectural standards and business needs within the manufacturing sector and the Connected Shop Floor initiative.
  • Work alongside Information Security and Supply Chain Engineering to formulate the Digital Plant strategy and processes for Operations Technology systems.
  • Assist teams in migrating data to and from various on-premises and cloud solutions (Azure Data Lake/SQL/PowerBI).
  • Support the design and implementation of a strategic mobility platform.
  • Act as a change advocate for Digital Manufacturing.
  • Participate in the development of functional and technical specifications that detail the business changes and the specific technical modifications in the system.
  • Collaborate with platform and portfolio leaders to select the appropriate tools that support the application strategy across portfolios and platforms. Establish standards and reusable patterns for data asset sharing across business units.
  • Identify and adopt best practices within the Connected Shop Floor initiative, including Azure services, data integration, and Operations Technology platforms (SCADA/MES).
  • Engage with Manufacturing and Warehouse technology suppliers to design and implement solutions that enhance the security of plant automation systems.
  • Influence IT Managed Service performance and escalation processes. Assist in troubleshooting complex issues in collaboration with team members or cross-divisional teams.
  • Support the IT Managed Service for critical incident resolution.
  • Partner with IT and business teams to facilitate Agile application development, DevOps practices, and short-cycle iterations to maximize value.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Information Technology or a similar role.
  • Hands-on experience in supporting and engineering Microsoft Azure solutions and/or Operations Technology environments (Ignition/TrakSYS MES) is preferred.
  • Experience with PowerBI or equivalent dashboarding tools, including advanced features and scripting capabilities.
  • Familiarity with Azure Data Factory is preferred.
  • Prior experience in Manufacturing Automation environments (Operations Technology) is strongly preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Microsoft Azure platform and its services (Azure Data Factory, Streaming Analytics, IoT Hub/Edge, etc.).
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple internal IT organizations.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities, including troubleshooting, prioritization, and escalation skills.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 15%.
