Job Overview

Premier Business Services is seeking a highly skilled Tax Professional to join our team as a Senior Tax Associate. This role will involve preparing and reviewing federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and corporations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough financial analyses to identify tax-saving opportunities and collaborate with clients on financial planning strategies related to tax implications.
  • Provide tax due diligence support for mergers and acquisitions and oversee accounts payable processes to ensure timely payments and compliance.
  • Perform general ledger reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records and provide insights on private equity transactions and their tax implications.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and regulations affecting clients and adaptability to diverse work environments.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis and financial planning techniques, proficiency in corporate accounting practices and principles, and experience with mergers and acquisitions, including related tax considerations.
  • Familiarity with accounts payable processes and general ledger reconciliation, technical accounting skills, and solid understanding of debits and credits.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail, strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
