Position Summary
Outpatient Registered Nurse / RN, Cardiology Clinic
Shift: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm
We are looking for a skilled Registered Nurse / RN with extensive experience in patient care, possessing a solid understanding of the specific needs of a targeted patient demographic.
- Utilizes acquired knowledge, theoretical frameworks, research, and practical experience to adapt to clinical changes effectively.
- Applies the Synergy Model for Care in practice, tailoring care to meet the unique needs of each patient and their family.
- Independently delivers safe, reliable, and effective care to a designated patient population using the nursing process.
- Assesses patient responses to planned interventions and modifies care plans as necessary.
- Integrates the AACN Synergy Model into everyday clinical practice.
- Collects, analyzes, and reports data consistently as required by physicians and interdisciplinary teams, adhering to organizational standards.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a minimum of 12 months of recent nursing experience within the last five years or completion of a re-entry nursing program.
- Must possess a valid, active, unencumbered Nursing license or a temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
- BLS certification is mandatory; ACLS certification may be required in specific departments.
- Exceptions apply for individuals currently employed as LPNs within the EHC system who are transitioning to RN roles while completing the Resident program.
