This is a full-time position, working 36 hours per week, with a sign-on bonus eligible. Core Responsibilities- Perform the Nursing Process, using evidence-based practice, to provide individualized care to patients.
- Provide relationship-based patient-centered care, adapting service delivery to reflect an understanding of cultural diversity.
- Partner with patients and significant others to set and achieve patient goals, using effective communication methods.
- Practice using current clinical practice standards, promoting a respectful and inclusive clinical environment.
- Coordinate the delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care, promoting the professional care delivery model.
- Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration, practicing in a fiscally responsible manner and promoting the recruitment and retention of healthcare team members.
- Participate in performance improvement, research, and research utilization to promote safe, quality patient care.
- Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments, required mandatory education, and population-specific education.
- Serve as a preceptor and/or mentor for other professional nurses, ensuring a current and future qualified workforce.
- Associate's Degree in nursing or Graduate of accredited/approved school of nursing.
- Basic Life Support or BLS - Instructor.
- Less than 1 year of direct patient care experience.
