Job Summary:

The Stretch Professional will provide one-on-one assisted stretches and lead guided group stretching classes for our clients. You will assess each client's needs, create customized stretch sessions, and educate clients on proper stretching techniques and flexibility exercises. Your goal will be to create a safe and enjoyable experience for each client, promoting long-term progress and results.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions and group stretch classes for up to 6 clients
  • Learn and perform standard 25 and 50-minute 1:1 stretch sessions, including work on major muscle groups and extremities
  • Customize stretch sessions to fit individual client needs and goals
  • Assess client bodies, needs, and discuss outcome goals with clients
  • Provide exceptional customer service and deliver a high-end experience to every client
  • Encourage and motivate clients throughout a full flexibility training program
  • Build StretchLab membership and retain current clientele through sales and outreach
  • Manage client care, including updating client notes and booking recurring appointments
  • Ensure client safety and enforce StretchLab policies and safety rules
  • Attend mandatory staff meetings and required educational presentations
Requirements:
  • Love of boutique fitness environment and passion for stretching, mobility, and flexibility
  • Nationally certified and/or licensed as a physical therapist, chiropractor, personal trainer, massage therapist, yoga instructor, Pilates teacher, or another form of specialized health & fitness
  • 1-2 years previous experience in a fitness facility, private training environment, or professional health setting
  • Superior communication skills and ability to connect with people while motivating them to achieve their goals
  • Ability to perform stretch routines on clients of all sizes and age groups
  • Desire to continually learn new principles in stretching, anatomy, and overall fitness, health, and nutrition
  • Hands-on training and experience in anatomy, Kinesiology, corrective exercise, post-rehab, and injury prevention, athletic training are a plus
  • Passionate and positive about helping others achieve long-term progress and results
  • Experience working in a fitness/health environment where you provide hands-on training with a client
  • Fitness certification required
  • Ability to create a positive environment that welcomes all people
  • Fantastic communication skills and exudes empathy
  • Must love connecting with people and have a passion for helping them achieve goals
  • Must have a professional work ethic, be reliable, and adhere to our attendance policies
  • Must be available to go through our 2-day Flexologist Training Program
