About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced GM/HBC Manager to join our team at Albertsons. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing the non-food and non-perishable department, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service to customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Train, supervise, and schedule GM/HBC Stock Clerks to ensure optimum staffing in the department.
  • Manage the department's inventory, including ordering product, pulling recalls, and maintaining accurate inventory procedures.
  • Ensure the department's displays, shelves, and backroom areas are organized, clean, and neat.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Requirements
  • Ability to follow company customer service procedures and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Demonstrated prior customer service skills or related experience.
  • Ability to interact professionally with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
  • Aware of store promotions and advertisements.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Working Conditions

Working conditions consist of a temperature-controlled store environment. Occasional exposure to outdoor environment with varying temperatures.
