We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced GM/HBC Manager to join our team at Albertsons. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing the non-food and non-perishable department, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service to customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Train, supervise, and schedule GM/HBC Stock Clerks to ensure optimum staffing in the department.
- Manage the department's inventory, including ordering product, pulling recalls, and maintaining accurate inventory procedures.
- Ensure the department's displays, shelves, and backroom areas are organized, clean, and neat.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Ability to follow company customer service procedures and provide exceptional customer service.
- Demonstrated prior customer service skills or related experience.
- Ability to interact professionally with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
- Aware of store promotions and advertisements.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions.
- Ability to multitask while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently when necessary.
- Knowledge of products, product pricing, and store layout.
- Ability to make quality decisions and work under minimal supervision.
- Ability to multitask while working under stress and time constraints.
- Ability to work varied shifts over a 24-hour operation.
Working conditions consist of a temperature-controlled store environment. Occasional exposure to outdoor environment with varying temperatures.
