Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Histology Technician to join our team at KA Recruiting Inc. in a full-service anatomic, clinical, and molecular pathology laboratory. As a Histology Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine and complex histology procedures, including embedding, cutting, H&E, and special stains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preform histology procedures, including embedding, cutting, and staining of tissue samples
  • Operate laboratory equipment, such as microtomes and staining machines
  • Prepare and maintain laboratory supplies and equipment
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure accurate and timely results
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities

Requirements:

  • ASCP Certification as a HT, HTL, or QIHC
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Experience in histology laboratory procedures
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
