Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Dental Hygienist to join our team at KidSmile Dental. As a Pediatric Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our young patients, ensuring they have a healthy and happy smile.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain patient medical records, update patient medical history, and vital signs as needed.
  • Conduct complete patient X-ray procedures, including taking, developing, and storing X-Rays as necessary.
  • Complete periodontal charting as directed.
  • Prepare tools and equipment necessary for the Provider and assist the Provider with exams as necessary.
  • Perform preventative periodontal care on patients, including scaling, prophylaxis, root planning, and the application of preventative agents and sealants.
  • Perform expanded functions, such as placing and carving amalgam and composite restorations, applying cavity liners, and placing/removing temporary crowns.
  • Provide anesthetic for preps for the doctor.
  • Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide analgesia as necessary.
  • Work in tandem with the doctors to carry one column of restorative work each day.
Requirements
  • Registered Dental Hygienist License in WA (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Nitrous Certification
  • Restoration Certification
  • Anesthetic Certification
  • 1-3 years of experience is preferred
