We are seeking a skilled Shear Saw Operator to join our team at Carlton Staffing in Houston, TX.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a hydraulic metal shear to cut metal to customer specifications, receiving and identifying incoming materials, maintaining inventory, and performing other general duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate hydraulic metal shear to cut metal to customer specifications
  • Receive and identify incoming materials
  • Maintain inventory and perform other general duties as assigned
  • Organize warehouse and ensure efficient workflow

Requirements:

  • 5 years' experience operating a hydraulic shear saw
  • Ability to operate a forklift
  • Math skills, including fraction and decimal conversion
  • Ability to read a tape measure and use measuring tools
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs throughout the day
