Estimated Salary:$65,000 - $90,000 per year (dependent on location and experience)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales/product management to design and develop new products based on customer-specific requirements.
  • Drive the engineering change process by providing engineering drawings and following the engineering change process through completion.
  • Complete BOMs and Routers for all new parts and revise for current parts as necessary.
  • Ensure complete and efficient new product transfer to production floor by active participation in design reviews and validations in collaboration with process engineers.
  • Actively participate in process/test development to ensure successful new product launch.
  • Actively participate as a team-member transferring products from prototype to production stages.
  • Collaborate with prototype lab to produce prototypes for customer approvals.
  • Drive engineering changes through completion, per the requirements from design/production/quality teams.
  • Assist in design and creation of tooling and fixtures as necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering required.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Mechanical or Electrical product development required.
  • Working knowledge of Solidworks required.
  • Experience and demonstrated aptitude in all phases of design, testing, and operations of electronics manufacturing a plus.
  • Knowledge of basic machine shop equipment (mills, lathes, etc.) Machine programming experience a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral).
  • Ability to interact professionally with all company functions including Engineering, Quality, Production, and Customer.
  • Self-motivated, innovative, creative, and resourceful.
  • Ability to meet multiple project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Full-time position in Painesville, Ohio, onsite at our manufacturing facility.
