Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in Medicine NW9 RN. This role will be responsible for upholding the YNHHS mission, vision, values, and strategic initiatives to provide exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Nursing Practice: The registered nurse collects pertinent data and information relative to the healthcare consumer's health or situation, analyzes assessment data to determine actual and potential diagnoses, identifies expected outcomes, develops and modifies a plan of care, implements the identified plan, coordinates care delivery and transitions in care, employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment, and evaluates progress toward attainment of outcomes.
- Professional Performance: The ANA Standards of Professional Performance describe a competent level of behavior in the professional role, including activities related to ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice and research, quality of practice professional practice evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have a graduation from an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred, current BCLS certification, and licensure and registration as a nurse in the State of Connecticut. Clinical specialty certification is highly encouraged.
Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
