- Manage inventory of necessary aquatic equipment.
- Serve as a liaison between athletes and the Recreation Manager.
- Ensure adherence to regulations set by governing sports bodies.
- Possess required certifications as mandated.
- Follow safety protocols and concussion management guidelines.
- Create a supportive environment for individual and team development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide participants throughout the academic year and support events.
- Disseminate team information and promotional materials.
- Ensure compliance with sports regulations and university policies.
- Assist in maintaining records and managing data.
- Participate in university events and meetings as required.
- Ensure completion of necessary waivers, memberships, and insurance documentation.
- Adhere to quality standards and university procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by university management.
Work Schedule:
- Work hours will vary based on practice, competition, and travel needs.
Reporting Line:
- Directly report to the Recreation Manager within the university.
Decision-Making Authority:
This role involves planning, organizing, and making decisions related to team selections and training sessions based on established criteria.
- Compliance with health and safety regulations is essential.
- Mandatory attendance at all university activities.
Qualifications:
- Degree in sports or a related discipline.
- Experience in sports coaching and development.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Valid driver's license is required.
