Job Summary

The Guy M Turner Rigging and Machinery Installation Foreman is a top-level hands-on position responsible for leading work crews and workers engaged in the lifting and moving of materials and machines. This role utilizes power-operated equipment such as hoists, winches, cranes, and forklifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in all rigging and lifting activities, ensuring compliance with safety procedures and method statements.

• Assist in determining the proper method of lifting equipment for each assigned project.

• Conduct basic loading of heavy lift projects by rigging customer equipment and ensuring proper use of each equipment method.

Requirements

This role requires a strong understanding of heavy lift plans and procedures, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
