Job Title: Depot Maintenance Technician

Western Pallet Supply & Logistics LLC is seeking a skilled Depot Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Depot Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment and systems in our depot facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, including motors, control circuits, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and testing of electrical equipment and systems according to established schedules.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Repair or replace defective electrical components, such as motors, control panels, wiring, and switches, ensuring compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
  • Perform electrical installations, upgrades, and modifications as required.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and team members to identify and resolve electrical problems and improve equipment performance.
  • Document all maintenance and repair work accurately and maintain detailed records of electrical maintenance history.
  • Stay up-to-date with electrical codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and company policies while working on electrical systems.
  • Assist in maintaining an inventory of electrical parts and supplies.
  • Perform other related duties as needed.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Six months or more related experience
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician with a strong electrical bias, preferably in a depot or similar environment
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, including motors, control circuits, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques
  • Familiarity with electrical testing and diagnostic equipment
  • Proficient in reading electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals
Work Environment

The work environment consists of occasional extreme temperature shifts ranging from very cold to very hot. Exposure to dust and loud noise (hearing protection is provided). Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and moving forklifts.
