Staffmax Healthcare is currently in search of a dedicated travel nurse specializing in Infusion for an exciting opportunity. This role is designed for a skilled RN with a focus on outpatient transfusion services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care in an infusion clinic setting.
- Administer chemotherapy and other infusion therapies.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Job Requirements:
- Active RN license in New York.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in outpatient oncology and infusion.
- Certification in chemotherapy and oncology nursing is mandatory.
- Proficient in peripheral IV insertion and catheter management.
- Previous travel nursing experience is preferred.
- BSN degree is a plus.
- Familiarity with Cerner and ACLS/BLS certifications is required.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time position with 40 hours per week, typically scheduled for 8-hour shifts.
- No weekend shifts required.
