Job Title: 6G Welder

We are seeking a skilled marine welder with ABS knowledge to join our team. As a 6G welder, you will be responsible for supporting repairs to Army Watercraft.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Weld different metals such as copper nickel, copper, bronze, steel, carbon steel, and aluminum.
  • Be qualified by a recognized welding inspection organization to AWS, ASME Section IX, API 1104, or ABS rules for Materials and Welding.
  • Hold a certified 6G welding position using any welding process (SMAW or GTAW preferred) to unlimited size and thickness.
  • Meet a target rate of 25/hr to 32/hr.
Requirements:
  • 6G welding experience.
  • Experience with welding nickel, copper, bronze, steel, carbon steel, and aluminum.
