The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). This role requires a strong commitment to delivering compassionate and individualized care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate the health status of residents, including identifying and reporting changes to the RN and physician.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and providing emotional support.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other support staff, ensuring that care is delivered in a safe and efficient manner.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Current LPN license in North Dakota or compact LPN licensure.
- BLS certification required within orientation period.
- LPN program as evidenced by licensure.
- Previous nursing home experience preferred, but not required.
