Chess Wizards is seeking experienced and passionate Chess Tutors to join our after-school enrichment program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to cultivate children's love for chess
• Teach chess strategies and techniques to students of various skill levels
• Encourage good sportsmanship and teamwork among students
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with other Chess Wizards staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of chess rules and strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with children of various ages and skill levels
• Flexibility to work a variety of schedules, including afternoons and weekends
• USCF rating is a plus
• Teaching/tutoring/camp counselor experience is a plus
