Job Title: CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues. This will involve positioning patients to scan specific areas of their bodies, performing regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to prolong the life of the X-ray tubes, and sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
  • Position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies.
  • Perform regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to prolong the life of the X-ray tubes.
  • Sterilize radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients.
  • Maintain and update clinical knowledge and skills.
  • Participate in relevant continuing education programs.
  • Provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
Requirements:
  • BLS and ACLS certification.
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification.
  • Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification.
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Passionate about patient care.
  • Requires a minimum of two years of current CT Tech experience.
  • Graduate from a fully accredited Radiology Tech/CT Tech program.
  • Active unencumbered CT Tech Alabama state license.
  • One year of Epic experience.
  • ARRT and CT Tech Certifications.
