Job Summary

Mountainland Technical College is seeking a qualified CDL Instructor to join our team. As a CDL Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching students the skills and knowledge needed to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans to ensure students meet the requirements for graduation.
  • Provide direct supervision and instruction to students in the classroom and range.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Model and teach good work habits and safety procedures.
  • Assist students in the use, care, and safety of program equipment.
Qualifications
  • Valid CDL Non-Restricted Class-A license.
  • Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class-A Truck Driving Experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years over the road (OTR) or local truck driving experience.
  • Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check.
  • Proficient with a manual transmission.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
