Job Title: Yard Utility

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Yard Utility professional to join our team at BlueTriton Brands in Kingfield, ME.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a yard truck accurately and efficiently to move trailers from the yard to a shipping door for shipment. Additionally, they will operate a forklift to perform shipping/receiving activities in a fast-paced environment, manage minute-to-minute shipping/receiving activities, and prioritize and organize workload using software, communication, and time management skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate a yard truck to move trailers from the yard to a shipping door for shipment
  • Operate a forklift to perform shipping/receiving activities in a fast-paced environment
  • Manage minute-to-minute shipping/receiving activities
  • Prioritize and organize workload using software, communication, and time management skills
  • Work self-directed and with minimal supervision to accomplish daily tasks and drive operational results
Requirements:
  • Current and valid CDL A Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • Minimum 2 years driving experience
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • Prior warehouse experience preferred
  • Exposure to warehouse inventory scanners and basic equipment maintenance preferred
  • Experience working in a team environment with good communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications, SAP experience a plus
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs without assistance
  • Able to sit for long periods of time and drive backwards as needed
  • Ability to operate industrial equipment

Compensation:

$26.11/hour, with 50 cent increases after 90 and 180 days upon successful review, and 6-8% of base hourly rate shift differential paid for applicable hours worked.
