Advanced Pharmacy Technician Role

We're seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our Omnicare closed-door pharmacy team as an Advanced Pharmacy Technician. This role offers a unique opportunity to advance your career and gain new skillsets in a closed-door pharmacy setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure medication needs and regulatory compliance are met for our patients
  • Work in various pharmacy workstations, including packaging, staging, returns, receiving, narcotics, IV, Ekit, compounding, and Omnicell Cycle Fill
  • Partner with function supervisor to coordinate workflow and prepare and process medications
  • Perform physical inventories of medication and rotate stock
Requirements:
  • Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
  • One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in the long-term care industry
  • Prior experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
  • PTCB National Certification
  • Five (5) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience
