Cardiac Device Specialist Job Opportunity

As a valued member of the Bryan Health team, you will be responsible for assisting physicians with cardiac device follow-up. This role involves working with patients to monitor their cardiac health and provide education on device usage.

  • Apply and manage Holter and Event Monitors to track patient cardiac activity.
  • Download, scan, and analyze Holter and Event Monitors to identify potential issues.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including EMR office filing for device alerts and reports.
  • Maintain equipment, including Holters and Device Programmers, to ensure optimal performance.
  • Identify rhythm disturbances and device malfunctions, and provide recommendations for resolution.
  • Assist during office visits with device testing and adjustments to ensure accurate patient care.
  • Provide patient education and triage calls to address patient concerns and questions.
  • Generate and process device reports accurately to ensure timely communication with physicians.
  • Maintain billing spreadsheets with precision to ensure accurate reimbursement.
  • Ensure all device reports are sent to the appropriate physicians for review and action.
  • Perform basic scheduling and filing tasks to support the team.
  • Develop knowledge of heart rhythms and device operations to provide expert-level support.

Requirements

  • Minimum education requirement: High School Graduate.
  • Preferred experience: 2 years in a medical practice.
  • BLS Certified and Cardiac Device Specialist certification preferred.
