Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Genomics Data Analyst Associate to join our team at the Perelman School of Medicine. This role will involve the analysis of large-scale genetic and genomic datasets related to human brain development and neurodevelopmental disorders.

Responsibilities

  • Collection, organization, and analysis of large-scale genetic and genomic datasets\
  • Implementation and maintenance of lab-specific bioinformatic workflows and pipelines\
  • Maintenance of regulatory documents and correspondence\
  • Data analysis and contributing to manuscripts\
  • Collaboration with researchers to interpret results and develop new projects\
  • Development and implementation of data visualization tools\
  • Creation of training materials and documentation for colleagues\
  • Participation in quality control and assurance processes\
  • Adherence to best practices in data management and security\
  • Identification and mitigation of potential risks and vulnerabilities\
  • Integration of external data sources and tools into existing workflows\
  • Monitoring and evaluation of data quality and accuracy\
  • Documentation of workflows and procedures for future reference\\-

        Qualifications

        • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Biology, or related field\
        • 0-1 years of experience in data analysis or bioinformatics\
        • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail\
        • Proficiency in R or Python programming languages\
        • Experience with Unix/Linux operating system\
        • Strong motivation and teamwork skills\\-
