As a Medical Care Specialist - PCU/Stepdown Nurse at Incredible Health, you will provide high-quality patient care to individuals with medium to high acuity needs. Your primary responsibilities will include closely monitoring vital signs, IV drips, and other key indicators, administering medications, and implementing complex treatment plans.

This role requires strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and advanced nursing care practices. Additionally, proficiency in electronic medical record systems is essential.

To succeed in this position, you should have an Associate's Degree (ADN) or above in nursing, an active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license, and at least one year of experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or another medium to high acuity setting. BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association are also required.

The ideal candidate will be able to work collaboratively with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. Educating patients and their families on managing acute or chronic conditions is also a critical aspect of this role.
